Co-op Expansion Project

Yes, the rumors are true, the Co-op has received an anonymous donation of the old Outfitters building.

No, we will not be selling or vacating our current building.  We OWN it!!

Special Membership Meeting #1 - was held on August 8, 2025.  Information on the donation was shared and member input on the project was requested from the membership.

What is happening between Meeting #1 and Meeting #2

  • An advisory committee of members was formed to develop options for the use of the donated building.
  • The options will be based on membership ideas and suggestions received via the Expansion Project Survey (see survey below), emails and letters, and other media.  YES, YOUR INPUT is INVALUABLE.
  • The Board has engaged legal council to ensure use options are compliant with Co-op bylaws and Secretary of State nonprofit requirements.

Special Membership Meeting #2 - a second membership meeting will be held on October 24, 2025 at 6 pm in the old Outfitters Building.  At this meeting, the board will share the options for the use of the building.  Click here for more information.

The Meet Locker

Now OPEN for lunch, mini-meetings, coffee breaks, and visiting with friends

Take a few steps further back into the Co-op and into history.  Across the hall from the kitchen, you will step into an old ice cooled meat locker that has been turned into the Co-op's new indoor eating area --- which is now known as "The Meet Locker".  A gathering place for friends
